About Us
The Affair Series, a non-profit organization, took shape out of an effort that grew from the idea to invite our college friends and their colleagues to come to New York City to fellowship, network, and raise money for an educational cause through The Affair Series' inaugural event: The Big Apple Affair. This effort which began in 2014 was so successful, that those who participated chose to continue to help build the brand and the platform for which their good works could help raise more money for various causes over time. With a mission to recognize, appreciate, and provide resources for organizations that are devoted to enriching the lives of minority youth in urban communities, we aim to provide social opportunities for young professionals to travel, to raise money for organizations who are committed to building our communities, and to pay it forward.
